FOREX References, Periodicals, and Books
Superior reference on technical analysis, charting, and other aspects of trading. New articles are published almost daily. Material is geared to the new and inexperienced trader but leading-edge ideas are discouraged.
The sister publication to Trader's Journal. Editor Dickson Yap does an excellent job with both. Unlike many editors in this space, he is not afraid of new ideas.
Excellent content, although it skews to mainstream ideas for the most part.
By subscription, pricey but excellent if you are serious about the inner workings of the FOREX industry.
Something of a financial markets version of The Economist.
Just a shell of its former glory years when Darrell Jobman was editor, but contains an occasional good article on FOREX or technical analysis.
In a similar space to Euro Money but with more of a trader's perspective.
An excellent resource for aficionados of technical analysis.
A nearly 30-year treasure trove of technical analysis is offered in back issues. If you can afford it, purchase their complete articles' volumes, available in hard copy or DVD. They are a wonderful resource for technical analysis tools, charts, indicators, methods, and systems.
I would be remiss if I did not accord special mention to Traders Press, founded by Ed Dobson, which has been around for decades. They carry a number of FOREX-specific books as well as hundreds of newly published and reprinted books on technical analysis. One of the author's all-time favorite market books is Mr. Dobson's The Trading Rule That Can Make You Rich (Traders Press, 1979).
