Dow Lost All 2014 Gains This Week

Weekly Wrap Up


A bad week for stocks finally ends with the Dow reporting its biggest drop of 2014 on Thursday. The Dow ended the week down 2.7%, while Nasdaq fell a whopping 4.5%. This week also wiped all of the gains made by the Dow Jones Industrial Average in 2014. The Dow ended the week at 16,544, falling below 16,576, its 2014 opening.

Tesla (TSLA) debuted its new vehicle on Thursday, along with added safety features on its other vehicles, but investors didn't respond positively.
Tesla's shares ended down nearly 8% on Friday and are expected to fall even lower. Investors are beginning to wonder if the stock is really worth $236.91, or is the stock overvalued like Elon Musk believes.
