Stocks Rally on Friday, Still End the Week Down

Weekly Wrap Up

The stocks end the week rallying, but the Dow Jones still closed down 1% for the week after jumping up 263 points on Friday. Yesterday's rally was optimistic but stocks are still down for October. Nasdaq is down over 5% this month and this is the fourth straight week that the Dow has closed with losses.

Apple (AAPL) had its second product unveiling this fall on Thursday and investors didn't seem impressed. Apple's stock ended the day down 1.3%. Netflix (NFLX) also struggled this week, tumbling 24% in after hours trading on Wednesday.
Investors were reacting to the video streaming company falling short of meeting their Q3 subscriber gain estimates.
