Weekly Wrap Up
The strong week for U.S. stocks wrapped up with the Dow Jones and S&P 500 ending at new record closes on Friday. Even Nasdaq is pushing closer to it's record high, that hasn't been achieved in over 14 years. The minutes from the Fed's October meeting was released this week and showed that policy makers were having a large debate over the timing of raising the interest rates.
Google (GOOG) is currently experimenting with a new service, called Contributor, that will give users the option to pay between $1 and $3 a month to turn off ads on some of your favorite websites. This service will block all ads that are completely hosted by Google, but won't block ads that the websites themselves may have. Apple's (AAPL) stock hit another all time high this week, now the tech stock sits just 1.7% away from its 18-month price target of $118.54.
