Dow Soars to 32nd Record Close of 2014; CEOs Trimming 2015 Forecasts

After falling yesterday, stocks recovered today as the Dow soared 102 points to close at its 32nd record finish of the year. Nasdaq and the S&P 500 also finished in the green today. The nation's top CEOs trimmed their 2015 forecasts today in regards to capital spending and sales, but increased their hiring plans over the next 6 months. CBS (CBS) is threatening to pull its channels from Dish's (DISH) pay-TV service if the two companies can't agree on a new contract by Thursday.

The companies have been negotiating for the past 6 months but have been unable to reach an agreement thus far.
