Weekly Wrap Up
This week brought the end of one year and the beginning of another year with a roller coaster of a week for stocks. After closing above 18,000 for the first time ever a couple of weeks ago the Dow has yet to return to that milestone. And the S&P 500 hasn't fared much better and the stock index has closed in the red for the majority of the week. One a positive note, however, the main 3 stock indexes in the U.S. posted sizable gains in 2014 - Dow up 7.5%, S&P 500 rose 11.4% and Nasdaq gained 1.34%.
