agency
A firm which acts as an intermediary between buyers and sellers for a commission. Agency is a euphemism for Brokerage which executes customer trades for a fee, but does not take any financial risk as a firm or individually. In forex, an agency Transaction would be a trade made through a broker. Agency is the opposite of principal.
