bullish engulfing pattern
A candlestick chart formation used by technical analysts to signal that an asset's market price is likely to move lower, and which is characterized by a small black down candlestick with short wicks that is followed by a large white up candlestick that has a range which fully encompasses the small black candle. When a technical Forex Trader observes a bullish engulfing pattern, they would typically prepare to enter into a long position or close out a short position.
