commingled fund
A consolidated account made up of the assets from several other accounts. A commingled fund generally blends the assets and provides investors with benefits such as professional money management, lower Trading Costs and diversification. The assets are commingled reducing the cost of managing them separately and allowing for capital gains to get equally divided among investors.
