dual currency swap
A derivative Transaction in which floating rate payments are exchanged for fixed rate payments along with the ability to make payments in either one of two currencies at a preset exchange rate. Although a dual currency swap involves forex market risk, it can also be used to protect against risks derived from issuing a dual currency bond and might help a company reduce their cost of borrowing.
