earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA)
A useful measure of performance for a company with large non-cash expenses like depreciation or amortization. Often used as an indication of the company's ability to meet their current debt obligations and acquire additional funding to finance growth. Calculated as: revenue minus Expenses (excluding tax, interest, depreciation, and amortization).
