Floating Exchange Rate System
Floating exchange rate regime of a currency that is governed by market forces, i.e., supply and demand, with no government intervention. In such a regime, governments will not attempt to influence a currency's exchange rate, even when it has been subjected a sustained increase or decrease in its value. Also see Floating Exchange Rate
