Foreign Official Dollar Reserves
(FRODOR)Amount of securities in US dollars held by banks in foreign countries. Foreign official dollar reserves oppose the performance of the US dollar in foreign exchange markets, in that its value appreciated when foreign securities decrease. Similarly, when the dollar deteriorates, foreign official dollar reserves will grow.
