risk to investing derived from the uneasy political class, political actions, or even political rhetoric of a particular country that can have adverse effects on all of their foreign operations. As an example, if a political party that isn't particularly friendly towards business wins elections in Germany, it can be considered a macro Risk for investing in that country.
