Sacrifice ratio
ratio used in economics that measures the costs associated with a slowing economy, in terms of output to change inflationary trends. Sacrifice Ratio is calculated by dividing the cost of lost production by the percentage change in inflation. The quotient gives the loss of output per change in measured inflation.
