trade balance
A monthly report that tracks U.S.-international trade in goods and services by product category and country. The report is released by the Census Bureau and the Bureau of Economic analysis around the 10th day of each month and reflects the trade balance for the reporting period ending two months prior. The trade balance data are available at a variety of financial Web sites and at www.census.gov.
