unparted bullion
A precious metal, such as gold or silver, in a form other than coins, which also contains additional metals in it. The price of a bar of unparted bullion will depend on how much gold or silver it contains. Some investors like to hold unparted gold bullion as a form of hedge against inflation and troubled times, in preference to the paper currencies traded in the forex market.
