yard
A colloquial term representing one billion units of a currency. In the forex market, if a Client wanted to buy a billion U.S. Dollars against the Japanese Yen, they might express their huge interest by saying, "I want to buy USD/JPY in a yard of Dollars." In this case, yard refers to a Dealing amount of one billion U.S. Dollars.
