Trump Casino Sale Hits a RoadBlock - For Now
Trump Entertainment Resorts announced about four months ago that it was looking at exploring strategic alternatives as the hotel and casino company continued to struggle. That led to hopes of a buyout and the market sent shares in the company north in the hopes of cashing in on a premium when a sale did take place. However, today the company essentially announced that no buyer had expressed interest at the correct price and no deal is imminent. The market has responded by sending the stock down over 20%.
