Huntsman Rejects Potential Buyers
Huntsman Corp. which recently indicated that it was exploring options to sell itself to a private equity firm yesterday announced that all such talks had broken down and the company was no longer on the block. The stock was down over 10% in electronic trading before the opening bell today as investors ran away from a company that they had bid up in recent days on speculation of a buyout.
