InvestorGuide.com is looking for an innovative and creative Front End Developer who possesses strong design, coding, development, problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities. You will be responsible for the conceptualization, design, creation, modification and support of our dynamic, user-focused web pages, tools, games and content. You should be a standards-aware web developer interested in developing new projects and applications that will engage and educate our user base while adding value to their financial lives. You must have strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript and Flash, with attention to designing and developing layouts that are intuitive, usable, professional and scalable. Your other responsibilities will include improving operational efficiencies company-wide by creating and implementing technical solutions learned by researching and understanding emerging technologies. You will be given the opportunity of working on different projects simultaneously, so you should be capable of juggling multiple items.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Extensive knowledge of CSS, HTML, Javascript, Flash and XHTML
- Knowledge least one web scripting language (preferably PHP)
- Familiarity with web standards and user-oriented design
- Ability to hand-code standards-compliant HTML and CSS
- Experience and interest in tackling usability and design issues
Also Desirable:
- Experience with XML, AJAX and web APIs
- Knowledge of semantic HTML and SEO
- Experience integrating front-end templates with back-end functionality
- Desire to work with other talented people in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Willingness to contribute to the business in non-technical areas
