Web Content Manager
Assists in the development of new projects, identifies risks and opportunities
and clearly communicates them to our group in order to discover innovative solutions.
This individual will play a critical role in the maintenance and development of website
material, and will assist in collaborative efforts across organizational levels.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review site content for relevancy and timeliness, identifying and updating out-of-date content; performing quality checks to eliminate typos, broken links, functionality errors, and poor navigability.
- Identify new and innovative ways to serve users through our web sites (e.g., as podcasting, RSS feeds).
- Develop concepts, formatting and rollout of new functionality.
- Identify, propose, develop and manage implementation of new web-based product and service offerings.
- Collaborate with the team to develop online content such as articles, newsletters, research tools.
- Assist with promotional efforts to build awareness, increase web penetration, and generate repeat traffic.
- Solicit, aggregate and analyze user feedback regarding web site functionality and features; use such data to propose site enhancements.
- Report and troubleshoot website problems.
- Prepare specific web utilization analyses upon request.
Ideal candidates will have the following:
- Ability to directly code HTML, knowledge of basic web technologies and standards, familiarity with web design and usability.
- BA/BS with an excellent academic record (GPA 3.4 and above) from an accredited university.
- Experience with web analytics and strategy development for increasing web utilization.
- Strong problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
